CO2e calculations are certifiable.

  • What's more, when computing the CO2e emissions of a shipment, the parameter generateCertificate=true can be used to obtain a certificate of calculations. βš™οΈ
  • The calculation of emissions are in compliance with the GLEC framework, and the certificate details the assumptions made for the calculations. πŸ”–
  • If you are interested in using this certificate with your company logo, get in touch. 🌈

Simulate the CO2e emissions of your shipments online.

  • This release sees both the Shipment API and the Certificate make its way to our web app. πŸš€
  • We've integrated πŸš„ Rail transport and Inland Waterways simulations include all modes of transport. πŸ›Ή

πŸ›  Fixes & Updates.

  • More rail regions (including Oceania, Asia), geocoding improvements (zipcodes, road terminals) and maritime route fixes (Alaska).
  • Updates of emission factors following the GLEC Framework 2022 update.

πŸ‘€ Preview of Cycle 5.

  • In Cycle 5, we'll work on extending our Shipment API to other modes: ✈️ Air transport πŸš„ Rail transport and IWW.
  • While we only cover the Full Container Load (FCL) use case on the Shipment API, we're working on cycle 5 to allow Less than Container Loads (LCL).
  • A better handling of CO2 Emissions for Reefer containers is planned.
  • Finally, users will be able to pass in distance and region as a parameter for our CO2 APIs, so any referential can be used.
  • When possible, our web app will provide more information about transport options on a particular leg.
